DuSable Museum

DuSable Museum  celebrates their 40th Annual Arts  & Craft Festival, Saturday July 12 and Sunday, July 13.  Local artists who specialize in the area of fine art and hand-crafted work that relate to African-American themes, identity, history, and culture.  Attendees of the festival should be on the look out for The  Black Age in Comics  which was founded by Turtel Onli.  Also  Afrofuturism and Rayla 2212 author Ytasha L. Womack and Illustrator Ashley Woods will  be onsite selling and signing their works. Copies of Rayla 2212 and Afrofuturism book will be available as well as posters and artbook.
